I finally have it! Today I picked up my new car.

My New Car

I've been excited about it since Wednesday when I received my insurance proposal documents through and they contained the registration number. When I took a picture of the mileometer when I picked it up the sales lady laughed at me. I explained that it would never look like that again and since the car would lose a lot of value as soon as I drove it off the forecourt I was effectively paying about 10% extra just to see it like that. I don't know whether she found it less amusing but it seemed to stop her laughing anyway.

I'm not sure what I will do this weekend - whether I'll go somewhere in particular as a day trip or I'll just drive around a bit. It will be nice to be able to go to one of the big supermarkets for once and do a big shop rather than have to go to the Tesco Express and Somerfield near me. Is it odd of me to be looking forward to going to a big supermarket for once?
