Can You Guess What it is Yet?

Before dismantling my cobbled together macro lens I decided to make the most use of it as possible in case I couldn't get it to work easily again. I decided it would be cool to see what weird images I could get when looking at things close up. The following are nine images of things within a few meters of where my camera was set up in the kitchen. If this works correctly, there should be a table below with the images as thumbnailed links. In the first comment will hopefully be displayed what the images actually are, hidden behind a spoiler tag. Hover over the tag to show the spoiler. Have a guess first though or it will spoil all the fun!

If this works properly, you should see a table below with the answers protected behind spoiler tags. Hover over the spoiler to reveal the answer.

Protective nylon sheath around a bicyle pump adapter. A dried-up brown leaf. The cutting edge of a bread knife.
Some lichen from the outside of one of my windows. Bread. A slice of chorizo (yuck!).
A textured area on a house key to provide grip during use. The scary pyramid eye thing on a US 1 dollar bill. The downy area that grows at the base of a feather.
