I mentioned,in my post on Kumihimo braiding, that I was going to try different types of threads to see how they came out with fairly basic 8 thread braids.The picture shows the results,
I've used leather thong, string, wire, wool and C Lon thread. The pendant on the gold colour beaded braid is made of strands of 0.5 mm gold and red craft wire. I'm now trying a sixteen braid in wool before attempting a wholly wire braid in thicker wire, maybe copper before I attempt a silver one.
