Dismal failures

I mentioned dismal failures in my post about the new bracelet. Here is a clear heart that went terribly wrong. I tried the heart off mandrell using Spectrum Clear fusing COE 96, got it half right then messed it up whilst trying to put a glass hook onto it.

Nancy playing, the cat that is

Yes, it's Nancy. She loves to sit on the table and play with anything I leave there. I've taken to covering up any beads or wire work with a magazine to hide it from her. One of her current playthings is the bow from a Christmas present, she can pick it up and toss it around because it's so light. She's also fixated on pens that get left around the house by a certain person.
