It's another rainy day here in Bristol which is annoying as after a number of weeks not doing much at the weekend but recoving from long days working followed by coursework in the evening I was in the mood for going out with my camera. Browsing through W1K I found a thread on stereoscopic images which I figured would be interesting to try and also have the advantage that I could stay indoors and dry!

Stereoscopic Playing

This is my first try hence the boring subject matter! In order to see it you need to unfocus your eyes so that each eye is focussed on a different picture. When you can see a 'third' image in the middle you have cracked it. You should then see a 3D effect.

Warning: Unfocussing your eyes a lot can lead to a headache!

Now to find a better subject matter since this appears to work......!

I think to make it more effective I need to find something where I can increase the depth of field. That might be difficult when stuck in my boring flat! Think, think.....
