I wanted to try a differently shaped flower so did this one in a couple of stages.

It has a yellow centre and a green stem.

I had difficulty getting all the bead release out from the tube shape so decided to etch slightly to dissolve the remaining release. Of course whilst I was suspending it in the fluid, the stalk broke off and had to be re-affixed in another stage. I used a small ring mandrel to get the initial shape but some of the bead release lifted up as I was applying the glass so I had to anneal, reheat and apply the rest of the red glass when the flower was off mandrel.
