One of Those Days

Ok, it's going to be another of those days. We've had 2 days of rain and the car wouldn't start this morning because the plugs are damp. I've used up all the battery trying to get it to start because I knew that if it didn't, I'd have to cycle to the doctors to put in a repeat prescription before the end of the week. Car still didn't start so the better news is that I didn't fall of my bicycle this time and managed the journey there and back in half an hour, including getting off the bike at every sharp turn so that I wouldn't fall off. The ride along the lake was really quite pleasant as the sun was shining.
I'm now waiting for DH to surface from his sleep, (night work again) in order for him to supervise me putting the charger on the car battery. I always get confused about which lead goes onto which terminal, must get a mnemonic sorted. I was the same with computer leads and sometimes end up with putting little tags on to remind me what goes where. I also used to get confused as to the difference between moorhens and coots at the lake, sooo moorhens have an R in their name so they are the ones with the red shield above their beaks. So by elimination the coots are the ones with a white shield. My attempt yesterday to do a further fish bead without the fins falling off was a little more successful, only one fin came off this time. I think I now know why and hopefully the next fish will not be fin impaired!!!
Beading is going great guns and I'm trying different things. Here are a few pictures

The stringer I used for the cat bead was a little thick so another time I'll use a much thinner one.

Tree Bead

The tree bead looks really cool. I could see that being a popular bead with people as it has a lot of broad appeal.

PS: For the battery charger - red to red, black to black. Red is (usually) positive, black is (usually) negative.
