and just developed as I played with the glass. The ability to make long stalactites of glass helps when making the legs of beasties or putting handles on blown glass vessels.

DH still thinks it looks like a donkey. I find the mouth difficult to do but the jaw is much better.
I was messing around with some silver wire tonight and came up with a variant of the fibula type of pin.
The large central bead has copper mesh enclosed in it to form the bunch of grapes type motif. It does work as I've tried it in my blouse with the pin hanging vertically.
Sitting in the garden this morning, one of the cat's, Nancy became transfixed by something in the greenery. I thought she might have heard a mouse rustling but no. She pounced and I saw that she had caught a dragonfly. I tried to take it away from her before she could eat it. Predictably, I took it inside to photograph and here it is.

I'm currently writing this on the laptop as we had a 10 minute power cut yesterday and it apparently caused the power supply in the computer to fail despite it being connected to a surge protected adapter. So a quick trip to PC World this morning to leave the box with them to fit a new power supply. Goodbye £60---I could have bought a lot of glass with that.
